Amoreiras 360: The Best View of Lisbon

Located on the last floor of Amoreiras Shopping Center, this viewpoint offers one of the highest perspectives in the city, sitting more than 170 meters and on the top of a hill.

We visited Amoreiras 360 during a trip to Lisbon in the Spring of 2022, and we were surprised that we were the only ones there when we arrived. We thought it was weird since such a gorgeous view above Lisbon deserves more attention.

This is why we decided it was time to share this with you.

We tend to find the highest place in a city and go there to see it from above. This behavior has been observed and documented in such cities as Vienna, Hamburg, Brescia, Santiago, and Belo Horizonte. Amoreiras 360 is a viewing platform that can be found in the Amoreiras shopping center in Lisbon, Portugal. When you arrive at the top, you have a magnificent 360-degree panorama of Lisbon, way above the city’s landmarks. From there, you’ll be able to see the hills, houses, and the beauty of the Tagus River.

Most of Lisbon’s landmarks can be easily spotted from there as well. Torre de Belém is a bit far, but you can recognize its silhouette easily. The 25 de Abril bridge is easier to spot with Cristo Rei in the back. The castle is easy to see as well. Be aware that the airport is right by it, so you will be plane-spotting at Amoreiras 360.

From there, you take an elevator to Amoreiras 360, and you can find it easily since everything is well signaled throughout the shopping center.
