When Fotostrasse first moved to Berlin, back in early 2012, we even considering moving to Berlin Friedrichshain. It was the place we liked the most from all we’ve to seem in our previous visits. The cobblestones streets, the graffiti, the architecture, the history… Friedrichshain is more than perfect for a great time in Berlin.
Great restaurants, Sunday flea-markets, concerts and clubs, the art inside and outside of galleries are some of the aspects of Berlin Friedrichshain we love the most.

New Berlin is a 4-star hotel near one of our favorite parks in Berlin, the Volkspark Friedrichshain. It features a spa and Grill by Boston Restaurant, where you can enjoy the best steaks and seafood.
The modern, stylish rooms at the New Berlin include a laptop-size safe and a TV with satellite channels. The bathroom has a hairdryer and bathrobes, and you will receive a complimentary bottle of mineral water upon your arrival.
New Berlin has sunbathing areas and a terrace overlooking Berlin. The hotel staff can also book massages and cosmetic treatments.
Even though this hotel only offers tram connections, the M10 is known to be the party tram and connects you to some of the best bars, restaurants, and clubs in the city. Besides, it is just a few stops to Mauerpark and other amazing places to see in the area near Friedrichshain, our lovely Prenzlauer Berg.
