Fotostrasse visits a place called Burger Vision for the #52weeksofburgers challenge and discovers a very different “burger.” We were going to meet a few friends and watch a movie at Babylon and wanted to try something close by, ended up finding this place and their peculiar treat; deep-fried calzone burgers!
The place itself is more significant than usual, and I can imagine that it probably gets super crowded at lunchtime because of the area (they also have a combo of a burger, fries and a soft drink for €9,50), and as usual you order it, pay, and they bring it to you.
Let’s talk about burgers! Felipe ordered the Der Pate (€7,50) a burger with cheese, barbecue sauce and caramelized onions wrapped in a fragile pizza-like dough and deep-fried. The barbecue sauce from this place is delicious, not overly sweet, slightly spicy, and made us very happy.
I ordered the Kill Bill (€7,50) inside the same sinful shell of fryness, but with a special sauce, cheese, caramelized onions, and a few more things I am not sure of. This was super tasty; everything was very well seasoned too. I think that the fact that it is all inside this dough makes these burgers so juicy, and the flavors get to know each other inside this amazingly guilty loaded shell. I can only say that the meat could be better, but as a guilty pleasure food, the meat is acceptable.
We also got the Chili Cheese Fries (€ 4,90) that had beans, cheese, jalapeños, sweet corn, and the same delicious special sauce that was inside my burger. These were better seasoned than usual and a significant portion, but nothing too special about the fries themselves. They have the usual variety of beers and soft drinks too.
Overall, the weird burgers were a great treat, and they worth the novelty; I can see myself craving them on a hungover day and would definitely eat there again. We rate it a 7/10.

If you are into novelty food that actually tastes great, this place is for you. Keep in mind this is the kind of place you eat and go, perfect to grab a bite before beers (or the next day when hungover calls!).
