De Poezenboot, also known as “The Catboat,” is a floating animal sanctuary on a canal in Amsterdam. Established by Henriette van Weelde in 1966, the Cat Boat provides shelter for stray, sick, and abandoned cats and has since grown into an official charity.
As the third-largest city in the country, The Hague has a lot to offer its visitors, making it a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. We had the pleasure of visiting the city in the winter of 2019, and we loved our short stay there, even though it wasn’t enough to see and explore everything we had planned.
The Court Pond, known in Dutch as the Hofvijver, is a gorgeous artificial lake in the center of The Hague. The surrounding area is the place where The Hague came to life for the first time, and this is the reason why we decided to spend some time taking pictures on its shores when we visited this great Dutch city back in the winter of 2019.
