Kaliningrad is a city rich in history, and most of its touristic sights are related to its Prussian past. One of these sights is the Brandenburger Tor, the only one of the seven city gates that are still being used for the intended purpose.
Not that many people know that the northernmost location of an Egyptian Sphinx is actually in Russia. Making the Sphinx of Saint Petersburg, probably, the only place in the world where you can see a three thousand old sphinx covered in snow. But we were in Saint Petersburg in May with Timetravels and it was too hot for snow. But the sight of these sphinxes was so weird that made us research everything we could about them.
