Terre di San Vito
a Wine paradise in the South of ItalyBeautiful scenery, fresh rosmarin perfum on the air and the oustanding sky colors was what was waiting for me once I went through the doors of Terre di San Vito. A place where the simplicity of rural Puglia has been enhanced with accurate restoration and embellished with elegant details.

From white driveway entrance, enriched by secular examples of olive trees and Mediterranean plants to the ceramics of Grottaglie gracing the dining area guarded by the typical stone arches, the estate is a riot of color and beauty.
Terre di San Vito: heaven on Earth
John and Lucia welcome guests with great kindness, leading them to admire the beautiful vineyards that stretch around the house. All the grapes you can imagine and all the smells you can smell. To the right side you can find a little white church and orchards that alternate with gardens. They will surely invite you to a tasting of their wines. And OMG the wine.
I am a wine lover for years right now and that was the best wine I’ve ever tasted in my life, and I’ve tasted wines that the bottle was more expensive than 5 months of a New Yorker rent. In Manhattan.
I’ve tasted only the red wine and not any other. We didn’t have much time but if you do, please look for the products from Terre Di San Vito. Among the bottles, labeled by hand one by one, stands the Malbec, particularly aromatic thanks to the proximity of the vineyards to the sea. The company also produces olive oil, which is used for the packaging of fine artichokes.
Everything you need to know about how to get to Terre di San Vito can be found on their website. And, everything else, can be found on #WeareinPuglia website or here at Fotostrasse.
